About Tessa Rounds

I am a Sophomore at Simpson College studying health and exercise science on the pre-nursing track. I’ve been passionate about healthcare and caring for others since an early age. This passion was confirmed during my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and clinical experiences, where I witnessed firsthand the meaningful impact nurses have on patient's lives. In addition to my coursework, I’ve gained valuable experience through roles such as a receptionist at an urgent care clinic and as an active member of the Pre-health Society. These experiences have provided me with the necessary insight and knowledge into healthcare and reinforced my commitment to nursing. After completing my Health and Exercise Science degree at Simpson, I plan to continue my education at Mercy College of Health Sciences to obtain my Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) to become a pediatric nurse. I am excited to provide exceptional patient care and make a lasting difference in children's lives. When I'm not focused on my studies, I enjoy boating, golfing, and spending quality time with my family.
