About Tetsuya Kawai

After successful career as HR professional at Japanese chemical company, Mitsui Chemicals Inc. for 11 years, I joined multinational companies which require HR transition and/or evolution in response to M&A, globalization, and economic crisis. I have helped the companies as a business partner, 1) harmonize/advance HR policies and practices, 2) implement right sizing initiatives, 3) accelerate culture change by robust performance management and leveraging pay for performance philosophy, and 4) manage labor relations. With good understanding of local HR / labor practice, and collaboration with global HR team and business managers, capable to provide local management team with HR solutions which help business growth.
