About Tevin Murphy

I am a certified Helicopter Hoist Operator currently operating on the AW119 platform, with experience in live hoist operations, training evolutions, and surf rescue exercises. I was signed out as an External Load Operator in 2025 and have since focused on refining precision hoisting, situational awareness, and disciplined crew coordination in dynamic environments. My operational approach is built on clarity, control, and consistency. Hoisting demands exact communication, depth perception, hand–eye coordination, and the ability to maintain full situational awareness while managing external load reference. I thrive in that environment. High-pressure operations don’t intimidate me; they sharpen my focus.Having worked within structured aviation SOPs and crew resource management frameworks, I understand that successful operations rely on teamwork, preparation, and disciplined execution. Safety is not a slogan in aviation, it is the standard.I am motivated by technical progression and continual skill development within helicopter operations, particularly in offshore and operational hoisting environments. I’m always open to connecting with aviation professionals who value precision, professionalism, and high operational standards.
