Prior to joining one of the world's leading law firms, DLA Piper, I completed my practical vocational training at ENS, Africa's largest law firm, where I have embarked on a dynamic journey that has enriched me with more than two years of post-LLB experience in corporate-commercial law. My focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital has allowed me to play an integral role in transformative transactions involving both established and emerging companies, both in South Africa and abroad. My responsibilities have encompassed the end-to-end process of deal-making, from drafting, negotiating, and meticulously reviewing contracts to conducting thorough due diligence. I have also been deeply involved in providing strategic guidance on regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring that our clients navigate the legal landscape with confidence. In addition to my BA Law and LLB qualifications from the University of the Witwatersrand, I have actively pursued professional development to continually refine my expertise. My journey has led me to prestigious institutions like the University of London, Yale University, and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, where I have honed my skills in corporate strategy, financial markets, and equity capital markets.
