About Teya Topuria

I am an accomplished professional with 20+ years of demonstrated work history in nanotechnology, materials science and scientific services industries. I have a strong background in materials/device characterization for various material systems, including magnetic materials, next-generation microelectronics, ceramics, materials for quantum computing, high-k dielectrics, tape heads and media, catalysts etc. I have experience working with multiple cross-functional, multi- organizational and remote teams providing timely reports on complex material systems. I help design specific characterization recipes and analytical processes with multiple characterization techniques, also providing feedback for adjusting thin film deposition, process development and device fabrication. I have strong hands-on experience with analytical aberration-corrected TEM/STEM, EELS, EDX, SEM, as well as familiarity with FIB, XPS, Auger spectroscopy, SIMS, XRD, RBS, Ellipsometry, Nanoindentation, Thin Film Sputtering. I have experience in applying advanced analytical software packages, basic programming and machine learning for data processing and interpretation. I have experience in running TEM lab, including minor troubleshooting and coordinating FIB/TEM lab work for rapid sample turnaround for multiple projects. I hold several patents and co-authored multiple (50+) publications.
