I am a talented and influential leader with 14 years experience in the rail transportation industry. Begin my career at Transnet Engineering as a Technician Engineer in 2007 and worked my way up to become a Depot Engineer in 2010. Was responsible for locomotive EMD GT26CU-3, GM-EMD GT26MC, GM-EMD GT 26M2C, and GT18MC modifications, management representative for ISO 9001:2001, improving business processes to achieve business objectives, and testing locomotives to ensure that the reliability target is met. In 2015 was appointed as a Resource Manager, making sure that trains from Ermelo to Mpumalanga mines deliver coal to Richards Bay on time, ensuring locos Tochisa 10E and CCL type wagons equipt with ECP brake system are reliable and available. Repairs failures that impact train delivery and preparing trains Mithui 19E and CCL type wagons equipt with ECP brake system before departure to Richards Bay. I successfully led a team as a Production Manager for the GE manufacturing line, building under the frame for ES40ACi bogies, auxiliary cabs, and gear cases. In 2016 was appointed as a Workshop Manager for Africa Rail and Traction Services and was responsible for repairing locomotive wrecks like CC33201, U20C and U30C. Locomotive modifying, performing preventative maintenance, and making sure that their customer requirements were met at all times. In addition, had to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. In January 2019 was appointed as a Lead Technical Adviser at GE Transportation, a Wabtec company. Responsible for field services, project management, and execution, operations management. From 2019 to 2021 was involved in a project in Egypt to rehabilitate ES44ACi for ENR.
