I have extensive experience and qualification in the aerospace/aviation engineering, maintenance, inspection.I have worked for the biggest Aircraft Maintenance Organisation in Africa (SAA) for 22 years, where I had the opportunity to work as an aircraft structures technician, certified technician, senior licensed technician, quality controller and Quality Assurance Auditor. Currently I work as Quality Assurance Manager. I have extensive experience in Aviation Quality Auditing/Inspection, Safety management systems and Maintenance. I work effectively in a team and manage people in an organised and professional manner, with “leading by example” being a key mantra. I have been part of the initiation phase of projects including:• SAA – Part of the first team that did a Cargo Conversion for IAI Aircrafts, first to be done in Africa.• SAA – Part of the first team that did a B747-400 Section 41 Modification, first to be done in the world. • JET AVIATION(Switzerland)- Part of the Jet aviation team that refurbished the B747-400 aircraft.• JET AVIATION(Switzerland)- Part of the Jet aviation refurbishment team on the Falcons.• SAA-Part of SAA Technical Redelivery team of the B737-800 aircraft.• SAA-Part of SAA Technical Redelivery team of the A319-100 aircraft.• SAA-Part of the SAA Technical oversight team for the acceptance check of the B737-300 Freighter.• SAA-Part of the SAA Technical team that overlooked the acceptance CKC of ZS-TGG Cargo aircraft CKC at Star Aviation• SAA-Part of the SAA Technical oversight team for the first CKC accomplished by AERO CONTRACTORS NIGERIA.• SAA-Part of the team that did section 48 floor area modification at AIR BOTSWANA• SAA-Part of the AOG Team sent to ANGOLA for damaged aircraft recovery of Airbus A340-300 Aircraft.• SAA-Lead technician of the B737-800 Horizontal stabilizer partial skin replacement on ZS-SJH, ZS-SJG, ZS-SJK and ZS-SJN• SAA-Lead inspector of the pickle fork/MLG fitting on the Mango B737-800 Aircraft.• SAA-Lead inspector on the winglet modification split scimitar on the Mango and SAA B737-800 fleet.• Appointed DAR (Designated Airwothiness Representative) for SAA Technical by the SACAAI am a self-motivated analytical thinker who is committed to delivering exceptional standards of service whilst exceeding set targets and objectives.
