With over eight years of experience in the electrical industry, I am a skilled and certified Engineering Assistant GIS HV Plant Management at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, the largest electricity producer and distributor in South Africa. My trade electrician red seal credential and N5 qualification in electrical and electronics engineering demonstrate my technical competence and knowledge in this field. I am responsible for planning, operating, and maintaining high-voltage plant equipment and systems, such as switchgear, transformers, and cables, ensuring optimal performance and safety. I also conduct inspections, mentor and coach staff, and manage documentation and configuration. I am proficient in various software applications, such as TXSIS, AFIS, Phoenix, and SAP PM, and have a working knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, electrical theory, and transmission network. I am passionate about delivering reliable and efficient electrical services to Eskom's customers and stakeholders, while adhering to the highest standards of quality, health, and safety. I have a proven track record of creating, repairing, and building assets on networks up to 33 KV, as well as responding to call outs and power supply interruptions.
