About Thad Rasmussen

For nearly fifteen years, I have worked on embedded & collocated unified messaging systems that integrate with telecommunication switches. Having begun as a QA Engineer, my attention to detail in verifying product functionality and reviewing accuracy of documentation lead to a development position. Using my coding skills, I implement feature requirements, maintain development environments, build the products and prepare them for release. Since I am responsible for many layers of the product development life-cycle, I not only work closely with the development team, but communicate with many departments and corporate partners. Collaborating in an Agile team, I thrive at full-stack LAMP or NodeJS & Angular web development on Windows or Linux systems. I enjoy coding in C/C++ and scripting in BASH, PHP or Python. I am great at a command line and am a capable problem solver.
