About Thaddaeus Dahlberg

Visit Thaddaeus' office and he will proudly show you a photo of an awkward-looking pre-teen at the edge of a group of kids all sporting goldenrod t-shirts with blue floppy disks printed on them along with the words "Compu Camp 1986.""See," Thaddaeus will say,"I've loved this computer stuff even as a kid when most folks didn't know about it." Then he might ramble on about 300 baud modems and Commodore 64s with tape drives. Thaddaeus grew up the son of a graphic designer, and when it came time to choose a major in college, he didn't go the computer science route, but rather followed in his father’s footsteps and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts. Here Thaddaeus saw his love of art and the world of computers colliding in the new field of Computer Graphic Arts. In 1997, just as the World Wide Web was catching on, the tech bubble was inflating, and the skills Thaddaeus had learned so far could have made him rich, Thaddaeus left the country to teach technology at a school in Nairobi, Kenya. Okay, it’s not certain that Thaddaeus would have been made rich, but at the very least he could have made someone else rich. He did become a richer person for his experiences, though. Thaddaeus came back from Kenya in just in time to see the air escaping from the tech bubble. People were getting laid off from their tech jobs and no one was hiring. So Thaddaeus started his own company. He used his self-taught skills in HTML, Javascript, PHP, and Perl to land some great Web gigs. He enjoyed the non-stop learning the Web industry’s ever-changing technologies offered. Throughout Thaddaeus' career he has become proficient in C#, Visual Basic, HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, MSSQL, Javascript, JQuery, jQuery UI, and ASP.NET. Currently Thaddaeus develops almost exclusively in the Salesforce ecosystem using APEX, Visualforce, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Aura Components.
