As Head of Equities of Mutual of America Capital Management, I bring more than 25 years of investment management and strategy experience in the financial services industry as an experienced investor in public companies. Manage the U.S. Active Equity portfolios as Head of Equities at Mutual of America Capital Management, where I oversee five actively managed portfolios, within a combined $30bn of assets under management. Formerly Head of Small/Mid Cap Value and Mid Cap Value strategies at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn. Over the past 25 years of active equity investing as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst, have led active investing efforts with industry coverage of the Consumer/Consumer Staples, Healthcare, Business Services, Industrials, Technology, and Financial Services sectors, among others. Focus on rigorous financial diligence and understanding of business fundamentals to deliver long-term results for clients. Long standing investment philosophy centers around a deep understanding of leadership teams, culture, and governance, as well as active engagement with portfolio companies. Have also led efforts to implement and educate on AI/tehnology and sustainable investing principles. As a private investor, focus on advising and mentoring emerging leaders in businesses creating a positive impact. Former Yale Lightweight rower, including the captain of the undefeated Crew that won the Temple Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta in post-season competition, the first collegiate lightweight crew to win at Henley since 1974.
