Liquid Image, Inc’s founder, Thaddius Bedford, is a graduate of Central Michigan University with 31 years of professional photography and 45 years of diving experience. His photography has been shaped by his love of the outdoors and an insatiable desire for adventure. From exploring subterranean caves in Mexico and Florida, discovering and documenting historical shipwrecks in the Great Lakes, to serving as official photographer for the 1998 U.S.S. Monitor Expedition with the US Navy and NOAA, if it involves water and a camera, Thaddius will be there. While underwater and adventure photography are his specialty, Thaddius prides himself on the versatility of his subjects and images. He is an accomplished commercial and editorial photographer. His work is regularly published in Traverse Magazine, Outdoor Life Magazine, Hunting the West Magazine, Big Game Adventure Magazine, Great Lakes Golf, and Advanced Diver Magazine. His Commercial work has been used in advertising for Krieghoff, Randolph Ranger, Negrini, Crystal Mountain Resorts, Unexso, Trijicon, Los Sueños, Dive-Rite, Technical Diving International/Scuba Diving International, Ocean Management Systems, The Big Fore, Costa Rica Luxury Rentals and many more. He has field produced and filmed “The Wildlife” and “Outdoor America” both seen on the Outdoor Channel. His High Definition Video work has been seen on ”The National Geographic Channel”, “The Outdoor Channel” and “The Mens Channel”. His work has been part of two Golden Moose award winning programs and Nominated three times for the same award.
