About Thais Monasterio

A high achiever, organized, empathetic, and reliable Psychology Undergraduate Student certified in Psychological Assessment courses, Voluntary Group Work, and with considerable Cultural and Idiomatic experiences. I have recently worked as a Health Psychology Intern, along with an extraordinary multidisciplinary team, responsible for taking care of Clinical and Surgical patients at Fernandes Távora District Hospital, having also effectively contributed as a Social Psychology intern at CAPS AD II (Psychosocial Care Center AD II) while promoting multiple social dynamics to help community families, based on the Brazilian National's Mental Health Policy agenda during the COVID-19 pandemic period. Right now, I'm currently providing Counseling Assistance to Clinical Patients at SEPA (School of Applied Psychology Service), as well as facilitating multiple interventions with Autistic Children in order to develop their Cognitive and Behavioral skills at NPC Life (Neuropsicocentro Life), a reference center with respected and extremely talented professionals on those matters. Furthermore, I'm the founder of a Virtual Page of relevance (Efeméride Feminina) dedicated to assisting the Brazilian women community on their Psychological and Experiential Integration. In the current global pandemic, I've engaged in international and national online courses, reaching excellence (100%) on the course "International Women's Health and Human Rights", from Stanford University, and achieving 98.33% of accomplishment on "Love as a Force for Social Justice". In this sense, I have additionally updated my professional academic skills on different national projects, such as courses from the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul and the Federal University of Santa Catarina on the COVID-19 and the clinical management of patients.
