Background
About Thales Mesentier
Hi! I’m a Data Scientist at Petrobras, currently working in Exploration General Management, where I apply state-of-the-art deep learning models to help Petrobras reduce uncertainty in exploratory efforts. I’ve been admitted to Petrobras through a national competitive examination in which I attained 1st place for the position of Data Scientist. I’m also a MSc Candidate in Transportation Engineering. In my masters thesis I develop a transit network optimization model that takes into account land use and planned centralities. The main purpose of the thesis is to investigate how transit network designs would be affected when induced to favor connectivity to secondary centralities.
