About Thandar Soe

I am an ACCA member with over 9 years of experience. I worked as a project accountant and consultant at WorldFish Myanmar for the USAID funded project since January 2020 till March 2023. I worked as a project leader and junior deputy manager at KDDI Summit Global Myanmar Co, Ltd (MPT-KSGM) since October 2015 to May 2019. Moreover, I had over three years working experience at Trading & import company and audit firm: two years as a senior accountant and as an assistant chief accountant at First Top Group Co, Ltd.(Myanmar) and one year as an audit staff at Win Thin & Associates (Myanmar). I am very keen to get involved in advanced financial roles and get some challenging experiences and knowledge because I want to become a well-rounded finance officer. I have practical experiences in financial reporting, financial accounting, audit & assurance, AR & AP functions, inventory & fixed assets controlling, project management and so on. Moreover, I built an enriched team with good relationship when I worked as an assistant chief accountant and head of the import department. Even though I had no supervisory experience, I was able to lead my team through smooth daily operation and performed duties with accuracy within time constraint. I led a project named "Capitalization Report Analysis and Correction" for Asset Report correctness and accuracy. Improving the skill of asset team members, being accuracy and correctness of asset report, improving the communication between internal departments and optimizing the asset reporting process are the main targets of the project
