I am Thando Sbonelo Cele - a confident, hard-working, ambitious and determined young professional with an African Heart, a Global Mind and a Universal Soul. I have an unrivaled passion for people and the Marketing field as a whole, with a strong and keen interest in Digital and Social Media Marketing; and Brand Management especially, having studied toward and achieved my BCom Marketing Management and subsequent BCom Marketing Management Honours degrees from the University of Pretoria. Born and bred in Durban and possessing impressive interpersonal skills, I admire and appreciate people from all walks of life - especially those driven to pursue their dreams and have an unshakable drive to succeed whether it's individually, or in a team setting where the whole is greater than its parts. I see myself as a natural and versatile leader that is always eager to learn from others through my work ethic, competitive nature as well as the drive of wanting to be the (but more importantly, to give of my) very best in any and every challenge in front of me. I enjoy serving and assisting wherever I'm needed in order to emphatically make a positive impact and change to society in a manner that exclusively separates me from everyone else. After having the honour and privilege of being a part of the prestigious Massmart Graduate Development Programme in 2018 (which entailed studying toward achieving a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Regenesys Business School, and being enrolled in the BCX Retail Academy that aimed to educate all its students about the ins and outs of retail as a whole); I was the proud Marketing Coordinator of Game Africa. We looked to serve our customers the best way possible, in keeping with our vision to become Africa's Primary retailer in 11 countries, outside of South Africa. Currently, I have the wonderful honour and privilege of being The Do More Foundation's Communications Coordinator, where we believe in the importance of working in collaborative partnerships with key public and private stakeholders to meet the needs of young children as set out in South Africa’s National Integrated Early Childhood Development Policy. Helping as many children, the youth as a whole and animals as we can is the mantra we live by in order to #DoMore, more often. I am an individual with monumental dreams, hopes and ambitions for the future (while still trying my best to enjoy the blessings and moments of the present) through always trying to be the best version of myself, every single day.
