Thando Maluleke is a dedicated and enthusiastic Human Resource professional with a strong foundation in people practices, learning and development and Talent management. I hold a National Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and am currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in People Performance Management at the University of Johannesburg. I am also a registered student member of the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP). In my professional journey, I have developed a passion for nurturing talent, driving employee engagement, and supporting organizational growth through strategic people practices. Currently, I work as a People Coordinator in Talent Management at Smollan Group, where I support various talent initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, learning interventions, and employee development programs. My role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify talent gaps, streamline people processes, and contribute to the design and implementation of initiatives that enable employee growth and retention. I bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset to every project I’m part of. I am committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with the evolving landscape of Talent Management and HR in South Africa. Outside of work, I enjoy playing netball which is a great way to stay active, focused, and balanced. I am passionate about making a meaningful impact by helping individuals thrive in their roles and aligning people strategies with business success.
