The aim of my research is the development and validation of biomarkers capable of identifying pathological processes in the human brain in order to better understand the interactions between multiple pathological processes as well as the development of novel therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases. I am a clinical neurologist interested in quantifying brain protein aggregates, functional, and structural changes in patients with neurodegenerative conditions. My research involves brain-imaging techniques, including positron emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as blood biomarkers to observe and measure these changes.
