About Tharushi Samaranayake

As a computer science student and a peer mentor at Sheridan College, I combine my academic knowledge and practical skills to help new computer science students succeed in their program. I have been working in this role for over a year, and I have developed strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to real-world projects. I have completed several courses and assignments related to web development, cloud services, and software engineering. Some of my achievements include creating a web application that uses AWS Lambda and DynamoDB, and participating in a hackathon where I built a chatbot that integrates with Google Cloud Platform. My goal is to become a proficient and innovative cloud developer who can create scalable and secure solutions for various domains and industries.
