I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communicative Sciences Disorders at Michigan State University. I received my clinical Master's and PhD in the combined MClSc/PhD program in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences and Communication Sciences and Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) at Western University. My research quantifies the relationship between acoustic aspects of speech production and speech intelligibility in motor speech disorders. In particular, I investigate how this relationship is modulated by different kinds of interventions (e.g, speaking rate, communication devices, deep brain stimulation surgery), and how it can inform our knowledge of speech disorders and treatment options.
