About Thea Yu

Thea Yu is the managing director at Jarzoe Builders Inc, a company specializing in Marine Aids to Navigation solutions and services and exclusive distributor of SPX Corporation brands and products such as Sealite Pty Ltd. She is an (International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities) IALA certified Level 1 Aids to Navigation Manager. She has recently graduated from Masters in Entrepreneurship in Asian Institute of Managament for Tahanan Furniture, a source of local furniture and home accessories in collaboration with Philippine artisan communities. Apart from her work, she is currently a student of Masters in Clinical Psychology in De La Salle University and a mental health advocate. She is an advocate for women empowerment and leads as a community / chapter leader at Ladies, Wine & Design Manila - a global non-profit organization that supports women in the creative industry. She is currently a Certified MICE Professional Event Manager. Her career has been focused on management, entrepreneurship, events and mental health. With the 6+ years of work experience she has had from various industries, she has formed her skills in Sales, Corporate Communications, Team Management, and Events Management.
