About Thegn Wise

I am a solid well balanced intuitive and analytical thinker with almost 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering, design and product development with 19+years experience in 3D CAD modeling and creating detailed drawing packages. Much of my experience has been in research and development and in new product development; but I also have experience maintaining, updating and improving current product lines as well. My work has been in multiple industries including, Network Communications, Automotive/Trucking, Heavy Equipment, Drilling/Mining, Oil/Gas and Defense. I have worked with many different metals and alloys: sheet metal, machined parts, weldments, castings, stampings, extrusions. I have worked with plastics and composites: vacum formed, extruded, rotational molded and injection molded. I have experience with all phases of product development from concept to mass production. I have worked with small machine shops and fabricators as well as with large scale production facilities. My major areas of study were Math and Physics, but my minor was in Art. I have a very strong mechanical aptitude and understand very well, actions and reactions, load paths, static and dynamic forces, stress and fatigue. I have a strong background in electronics and hydraulics as well and can read, understand and create schematics and drawings for both. My experience and knowledge provide a very solid engineering base and my intuition and creativity allow me to discover and create new insightful solutions for innovative designs. In addition I have the experience of a technician and fabricator to draw from to assure that my designs incorporate requirements for production, maintenance and service.
