I believe I have the passion to drive the businesses & organizations to achieve desired results!Before choosing to make my home in Australia in 2020, my story beings in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I began my professional career as a graduate trainee and elevated my position on the corporate ladder to senior management. Working for one of the largest, and most successful conglomerates gave me the opportunity to gain diverse set of skills ranging from business strategy & administration, marketing & communications, sales, strategic sourcing, and operations. Experience & exposure to the most challenging market conditions gave me tremendous perspective on how to build value in challenging times.My unique and successful professional journey has taken me across a variety of industries, including FMCG, manufacturing, exports, and healthcare. Hands-on experience & exposure, complimented by academic background has shaped me into a well-focused, innovative, and goal-oriented professional.My proudest professional accomplishment is driving the flagship brand (Munchee) of CBL Group to become Sri Lanka's largest FMCG brand. My contribution to the organizations and the brands I nurtured has been recognized both in Sri Lanka and internationally. Awards & recognitions I have received are testimonies for my strengths and capabilities. I received honor of being named "Brand champion of the year" for 03 years at the Brand Excellence Awards conducted by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (National level recognition for outstanding marketing efforts by the apex body of marketing in SriLanka) where brand Munchee, which I was the custodian, won the prestigious Brand of the year Award and many other performance excellence awards year after year which culminated in me being awarded as the Super Woman Achiever (Marketing) from CMO Asia Brand Awards, Singapore and Professional & Career Women Award from Women in Management, Sri Lanka.Over the past 20+ years, I have built tremendous capacity, invaluable experience and acquired a broad skillset. I confidently state that I could drive business towards reaching greater heights with compassion, purpose, and commitment.
