About Thembeka Sinqe

Teaching has also allowed me to explore different teaching styles to bring about change moreover to embark on a journey of research that might lead to making a difference in the educational sphere. I bring a sense of fun to the classroom by using constructive, group oriented approaches to create a conducive environment for learning in which learners' are free to explore, make mistakes and learn.I pay attention to the different learning styles in learners' and alter my lessons accordingly. I have an Honors degree in Childhood Education that I believe has given me an advantage as I now get to use what I learnt in the classroom to bring about a true sense of change. I am an artistic style educator in which using interactive or more tactile teaching resources is important to me. I love seeing learners' look at tasks with an inquisitive eye and go about using the skills taught to solve them. Lastly, having had a more psychological subject in my learning also allows me to tread more carefully in how I adress my learners so as to not trigger any of them as most learners I teach come from hard contextual backgrounds in which learning and teaching prove to be a challenge. A challenge I accept with an open? exploratory mind.
