About Theo Chambers

I am currently in my final year of a Communications Degree at Capilano University. My time at Capilano has equipped me with valuable skills such as storytelling, public speaking, and problem-solving, which have been instrumental in my personal and professional growth. Recently, I was honored to receive the Work Integrated Learning Student of Excellence Award, highlighting my ability to apply academic learnings to real-world projects and scenarios. In addition to my studies, I work at Arc'teryx as a Product Guide and ReCare Technician. My goal is to provide exceptional experiences for guests, guiding them to the best gear for their everyday adventures. As a ReCare Technician I aim to extend the lifespan of products through repairs and Arc'teryx's warranty program, ensuring that guests have no wasted days. In early 2024, I had the opportunity to study at FHWien of WKW University of Applied Sciences for Management and Communications in Vienna, Austria. This experience allowed me to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and thrive in a new environment. Facing various challenges, I learned to adapt and handle difficult situations, skills that I now apply in my daily life back home. I am eager to bring my skills and passion to the outdoor industry upon completing my degree. I aspire to drive innovation within the industry while championing sustainability initiatives and progressive ideas.
