About Theo Hendricks

With over 25 years of experience in the mining industry, I am a Technical Sales manager at Weir Minerals, where I focus on comminution solutions for the Africa and Middle East region. I am passionate about delivering value to our clients by providing them with innovative and efficient crushing, screening, and materials handling products. I have a BTech in Chemical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and an MBA Essentials certificate from Stellenbosch University. I bring a diverse perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the Weir Minerals team, as well as a strong commitment to our vision of making mining more sustainable and productive.In my current role, I am responsible for the concept design and flowsheet development of comminution projects, as well as the technical and commercial support for our sales and service teams. I leverage my skills in process engineering, project planning, and project engineering to ensure that our solutions meet the specific needs and challenges of our clients. I have successfully designed and commissioned several process plants across various commodities and regions, as well as prepared proposals for new and existing customers. I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues and partners to deliver optimal outcomes and customer satisfaction.
