In 2006 I joined Aegon as Senior Portfolio Manager specialized in European Real Estate. Ever since my graduation in Business Economics (Finance and Investments) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam I have been working in (international) real estate. My real estate career started in the Research & Consultancy department of Jones Lang Wootton (JLL for millennials and Gen Z) in Amsterdam. In addition to my working life, I have given guest lectures on real estate to master students Building & Real Estate Economics at the University of Amsterdam in 1992 and 1993 and in recent years to master students Real Estate Studies at the University of Groningen.
