About Theodore Miesel

I am currently a student at West Virginia University pursuing a degree in Computer Science. I enjoy solving the puzzles and problems programming presents and finding creative solutions for each and every issue put forth. Programming engages and challenges me in a way I haven't found elsewhere. With programming, there are many ways to solve a single problem, and I take it upon myself to find the most efficient and effective solution for the big picture, while still paying attention to smaller details and needs. I have used the Java programming language for three years developing my own server software, but also have knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Lua, and more. I enjoy server-side and back-end programming, as this tends to engage the puzzle-solving aspects of my brain the most. I typically use VS Code and GitHub for my applications. Once I have completed my Bachelor's Degree, I hope to enter the web development or app development sphere.
