I believe that most people try to do what they can to save towards their long-term goals but often do not know how things may look when they get there. I help provide this clarity. I guide my clients to understand exactly where they stand in relation to their financial goals and we work together to stay on track. Some, questions we address include: How much money do you need to retire? Are you saving enough? How much can you spend in retirement to ensure your money lasts? Do you have the right amount and type of protection you need for your family if something catastrophic happens to you? After discovering Edward Jones on a best-place to work listing, I joined the firm in a client support capacity 2003. I initially thought this would only be a stopping place until I could eventually find a career where I could help people. Several years later, as the firm was evolving to offer our clients more planning–based solutions, I had the opportunity assist other offices to integrate our leading technology. This was when I realized that being an Edward Jones Financial Advisor would provide me the opportunity to positively impact lives Our investment philosophy centers around knowledge and finding the right balance between risk and your return potential. Our branch team is the primary point of contact, our clients also have the support of thousands of home office associates who help ensure guidance is current and comprehensive. On a personal note I have always been involved in athletics. I ran a marathon in 2004 and have played competitive touch football for more than 20 years. I am married to Robert and we have two active kids, Sophia and Joseph. We currently take advantage of an RESP as we plan for our goal to fund their post-secondary educations.*Visit jdpower.com/awards
