About Theresa Rolf
With a background in conflict resolution and Human Development and Family Studies, I completed my internship with Coleman Mediation Services in 2010. From there I went into case management for individuals who had housing needs and/or mental health barriers. I also have experience working with individuals who have a history of addiction or criminal backgrounds in which I assisted them to find stability. This experience largely involved adults but was not limited to that demographic. I also offered help to children with mental and behavioral issues. More recently, I was working for a non-profit employment agency to help individuals find competitive employment. Currently I am working at Play Academy as the Administrator. My method is a more proactive approach rather than a reactive approach which is part of the reason why I chose to transition from adults to children. My dream job would be to somehow incorporate a holistic health approach to my realm of expertise. Holistic medicine is a form of healing that considers the whole person - body, mind, spirit, and emotions.
