I am an internationally educated laboratory professional. I graduated at Far Eastern University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and my educational background has met the national competency profile which is standard for Canada. As a license medical laboratory technologist, I perform routine and specialized laboratory testing with accuracy. I have worked in areas of hematology, transfusion medicine, clinical microscopy, histopathology, biochemistry, and microbiology. I have experience in phlebotomy especially in children and neonates. I have volunteered to perform proficiency testing for IQMH (Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare) and have been accredited. Able to perform troubleshooting and to work in a fast paced environment. Responsible for the accuracy of results and is compliant with all the established protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively alone or with all team members.
