Therese is a water stewardship specialist, sustainability strategist, and environmental program manager focused on resource efficiency and alleviating basin-level shared water challenges, with a track record of leadership, client engagement, and project delivery capabilities. She has over 18 years of experience delivering sustainability and environmental consulting services to public and private sector clients across a broad range of industries to reduce costs, increase revenue, manage risk, and build brand value. She is a subject matter advisor on value chain water-related issues and development of water stewardship strategies. This includes water footprinting and accounting, evaluation of basin-level and local/operational water risks and opportunities, context-based water target setting to address shared water challenges, development of water stewardship strategies and implementation timelines, incorporation of water issues into strategic business planning and governance structures, water-related reporting, collective action in targeted watersheds, water efficiency improvements and integration with other natural resource optimization strategies, volumetric water benefit accounting, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) implementation. Therese is also a subject matter advisor on scope 1-3 greenhouse gas inventories, and has developed financial modeling and forecasting tools to evaluate value chain energy and emission reduction projects and set actionable strategies and goals. She is experienced in supply chain engagement, materiality assessments, energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainability reporting, and developing sustainability strategies with an emphasis on business case scenarios and building brand value. In addition, Therese has managed multiple environmental remediation projects, and her site assessment and reporting background includes performance and evaluation of soil, groundwater, surface water, and soil vapor sampling investigations, as well as Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments. She also has experience in engineered natural systems designs; wetland delineation, mitigation, restoration, and monitoring; wetland assessments; phytoremediation/bioremediation; and stormwater management.
