About Therese Sanchez

I come from a family of eleven children. A family of meager means. Going to college was but a dream. Family always came first and I was blessed with two beautiful children. It was later in life that I was curious and learned that I, in fact, could go to college. What a joy to be able to take courses that sparked a fire inside and pulled my heart in the direction of nursing! 20 years later, that fire continues to burn in helping others to grow, flourish and thrive-from patients to staff to people I meet along the journey. I was fairly recently blessed to be able to care for my elderly parents in their home-who knew they would both end up on hospice and pass within four months of one another? With the help of a few family members and divine intervention, I was not only able to care for them, I was able to continue to support my organization full time remotely-I had a set up at the office, home and at the bedside of my parents. I look back now in awe and know if it weren't for the support of others and the Divine, I would not have been able to complete the most important task of my life. For this, I am ever grateful. I'm excited to continue my work in CDI as I love being able to use all my nursing knowledge I have gleaned throughout the years. Assisting providers, staff, patients and the organization I serve by capturing every detail of the profound work they do, all while supporting others to thrive professionally and personally, is what drives me and helps me to flourish!
