About Thiago Abreu

I started working on the electro-electronic field in 2008. Over these years, I have acquired relevant experience to attend the labor market demand. Even though, I am always aware of staying in a constant development progress to keep on improving knowledge, qualifications and skills. Each stage of my career has been marked by totally relevant opportunities that have led me to where I am today. I started in industrial maintenance in cement factories, where I acquired a lot of experience and professional maturity. In the oil field, I started working at NOV, which was a truning point in my professional life. I initiated at the NOV Tech College, which was an efficient program for qualifing field technicians to attend the offshore demand. Then I became specialist on NOV Subsea equipments, such as: Blow Out Preventers Control Systems, Risers Tensioners, Crown Mounted Compensators and Active Heave Compensators, but not limited only to these tools. I got capable and trainned to work in cranes and drilling equipments as well, developing a good experience with Siemens PLCs and the controls components used on NOV equipments. Currently I am proudly part of Transocean Electronic maintenance team as a Chief ET in Petrobras drillship currently operating in Brazil deepwater.
