Experienced data scientist/data engineer with a history of working in academic research in the field of computational plasma physics. Recent experience in the biotech industry working with chromatography data from LC/MS systems. Strongly skilled in Mathematical and Statistical Modeling, Python (Programming Language), Numerical Simulation, Computational Physics, and C++. Versatile data analysis and problem-solving skills with recent experience in Machine Learning algorithms. I am a physicist by training with many years of experience in academia now working in the private sector. All my career, I have been trained to discover and understand patterns in data. In my current position, my role is to develop and maintain the data pipeline for the Cascadion project. I am also partially responsible for data analysis using various methods and approaches, producing insightful visual graphs, both assisting the engineers developing the equipment and the method development scientists. The tools routinely used are Python (pandas, numpy, seaborn, scipy), SQL and Powershell scripting working with AWS cloud services. I am also regularly required to give statistical consultation for designing experiments for clinical trials and evaluating the results of tests done by the team. My experience, both in the academic environment and in the private sector, provided me with great flexibility, problem solving and teamwork skills. As a researcher, I was often challenged to acquire new skills and do my best with limited resources. I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques that are not yet familiar to me. I believe this ability to learn new things on-the-go, to adapt and problem-solve constantly are very valuable in the work environment. I enjoy working in collaborative environments, places that promote cooperation, free flow of ideas and long-term thinking.
