About Thiago Sasso

A passionate about technology since childhood. Started working in the Automotive Sector at Scania Brazil by 2005 passing through a variety of positions within several international work groups. Starting as a Production Technician, advancing to Production Team Leader, Process and Projects Engineer, Product Development Engineer and Project Manager. Moved to Sweden by 2018 where I became the Team Leader of a Project Management team focused on Problem Solving within R&D department at Scania CV AB. The many responsibilities associated with producing premium vehicles, securing zero deviations and reducing the environmental impact were purely motivating and satisfactorily challenging. I have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidade Paulista in São Paulo – Brazil. At university I was elected as the Engineering Student's Representative. This gave me an opportunity to develop leadership and management skills within an academic environment. I collaborated in two scientific research projects, allowing me a chance to follow the entire project management process, from the first ideas to the finished product. I led workshops and received scholarships, including one to study at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Peking University in 2015. This was yet another occasion to foster multicultural cooperation, to learn from and work with a diverse group of peoples. I strongly believe in international, multicultural and diverse cooperation. It´s the key to improve value-creating conditions. Highly interested in Leadership, Research, Development, and Production Businesses Management.
