About Thibault Jaillon

Thibault Jaillon is an Entrepreneur, CTO, CPO, UX Researcher, Interaction designer and Design & Computing Teacher with a deep interest in intelligent interfaces. After a french first degree (Université Grenoble I) in Internet and Interactive systems, a work experience in Australia (Bizar Software, Melbourne), Thibault graduated from the University of Portsmouth (UK) in 2003 with an Honours degree and then started to work as a Web Developer and an Interaction Designer in a couple of companies in France. He went back to studies in 2004 to deepen his knowledge of computing and especially of Artificial Intelligence at Université Paris VI Pierre & Marie Curie. Thibault started working as an Interaction designer for a wide list of clients, trying to sort out the best ways to produce attractive user interfaces, with efficient but ethical ergonomics, for a wide range of products. He founded the Square Glasses agency offering a wide range of expertise for digital products including UX research, Interaction / UX design, UI visual design, motion design and web programming. Thibault designed, developed and managed products for many clients such as Hermès, Lanvin, Dior, Timberland, Peugeot, Danone, Orange, Samsung, UEFA, Thomson/Technicolor, Française des Jeux, Enedis and many more. He gave lectures at Ecole des Gobelins between 2006 and 2009 for postgraduate students in Creative Media, Interaction Design, Motion design, OOP, Databases and Project Management. Between 2007 and 2011, Thibault studied Psychology, as another field deeply linked to his original interest for Human-Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. Since 2019, he aims at combining his Design and Computing skills with Psychology in a post-graduate research degree at the University of Kent. HCI and AI are his core research domains, having a serious focus on AI ethics, Trust and Social Perception of AI. He currently operates his research in the Mon Petit Placement fintech startup he co-founded in 2017 with Thomas Perret.
