About Thierry Huort

With over 40 years of experience in implementing employment, integration and adult training policies, working at various levels and in various contexts, from the local to the international, my work is guided by my desire to treat people, their ecosystem and their relationship with it with care and respect. Within France Travail and WAPES (World Association of Public Employment Services), I have had the privilege of working directly with multiple actors involved in employment, integration, anti-discrimination and decent work policies around the world. I also draw on my extensive experience in the field of vocational training to advise and support training organisations and trainers in various countries. As a personal and professional supporter of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, I cultivate otherness in all my actions because ‘my freedom, far from ending where that of others begins, extends through that of others.’ (Lascoux).
