About Thierry May

Extensive experience in sport events broadcasting of major sport events: Football French League, FIFA World Cup, Olympics, Roland Garros, EUFA Euro, FIBA Eurobasket, IRB France 2007, Dakar Rally… - liaising with the LFP Media division, to ensure a smooth Host Broadcast production and unilateral broadcast right holders planning and operations (in each stadium)- acting as the principal contact at stadiums for LFP and Broadcasters - coordinating the smooth operations of all production aspects on site (technical set-up in line with the broadcast guidelines, optimal implementation of TV graphics operations, satellite and fiber distribution, commentary positions and TV compound set-up)- participating to the development of the new LFP Webserver platform (online archiving of footages since 1990). In addition to that, another part of my job is to deliver guidelines and quality control for all matches all along the year with a full range of HB services for LFP and for FFT (glam slam tournament of Roland Garros). I’ve also worked as video features producer or production manager for HBS or other companies, to ensure top quality production and best possible content (Live or record productions / technical services and facilities/ Planning, administration, contracts / Digital media…) It has helped me to get a very good experience and understanding in HB productions in the TV broadcasting multicultural environment, as well as an accurate understanding and HB venue management. To finish, I like to work in a team but I can have leadership with solution based approach when necessary. I also have a constant technology watching over new TV products and developments (video, media sport industry, new media, sport setting) and… a passion for sport.
