Being with Groupe SEB since 1986, I have worked in 2 different functions : commerce and IT which are actually not so different. I started with Rowenta France in Besançon and assumed different jobs : Marketing (qualitative market surveys and market shares follow up), Sales (as a salesman) and Sales Administration Manager for export business I moved to Lyon in 1992 to become assistant to the Area Manager in Middle East and Near East. 12 months later, I became Area manager for the Near East and from 1994 Area Manager for Africa and French overseas territories. Then I became International Market Manager for Food Prep and Beverage Business Unit, based in Rumilly, in charge of Eastern Europe and Russia. In 2003, after the takeover of Moulinex, I switched to the IT department…You can imagine : a pure “commercial mind” in an IT environment…By the way, it was 16 years ago and I’m still alive! I started this revolution by learning SAP commercial module as a Functional Expert and it was when SAP was implemented in GSUK and in Groupe SEB Iberica, that I realized the added value of my previous experience, speaking not only from a “technical” background but from a “business” one too. In 2008, I became IT Relationship manager, a function very close to the International Market manager, “products” being replaced by “IT services”; I had the great opportunity to visit Chile and Argentina to implement SAP Business One : 2 marvelous countries. Then I became Business Intelligence Competency Center manager in 2010…My 3 children and my wife started to a see me a little bit more at home. As “BI and Collaborative Services” Domain Manager from Dec. 2013,I was very proud to manage a team of around 20 people (internal and external). From Jan. 2017 till Sept. 2020, I was "Global Demand Management & IS Relations" Domain Manager with a team of 6 Demand Managers,bridges between Business and IS. Since Oct. 2020, I have been "back to the business", as Retail Project Manager in the Corporate Retail Team, in charge of different worldwide projects. Importantly: I’m fond of classical music, movies, photography, mountains and contemporary dance…Nobody’s perfect
