Background

About Thijs Verheul

For speaking inquiries: info@thijsverheul.com I am an exited founder, angel investor, and keynote speaker. In 2013 I co-founded United Wardrobe, grew it to 4.5m users across Europe, raised €3.5M in funding, and sold the company to Vinted in 2020 where I am still a shareholder today. As a speaker I share my journey from student entrepreneur to exit with lessons on scaling startups, building brands, and running high ROI marketing campaigns. I regularly give lectures at universities and keynotes at conferences and corporate events. My expertise includes startup growth and fundraising, go to market and customer acquisition, performance marketing and influencer strategy, PR and brand positioning, and the founder’s journey from zero to exit. I have managed big ad budgets on Meta, Google, and TikTok, and built large scale influencer programs across Europe. I love to give founders and audiences practical insights they can apply immediately. If you are looking for a founder turned investor/speaker who has been in the trenches and exited successfully, I would be happy to join your event, podcast, or lecture.
