About Thikra Jaadan

I am the Executive Director of Resonate Yemen. I oversee the administration and operation of the work of the organization. Prior to my appointment as an executive director, I served as finance and administration manager, I have more than 15 years of professional experience in the management and finance area. During my experience, I worked in various sectors including Not for Profit Organizations. Before I joined Resonate, I worked as an external auditor and accountant. I also provide a consulting paper for many organizations related to public policies. I have participated in strategic planning for many organizations as a strategic team leader. I have been worked in training workshops on democracy-building and advocacy campaigns since 2015, and I was involved with Women and Youth empowering Initiatives and projects, I have enough experience to deal with international donors and well known their regulations. I received my Bachelor of accounting and audit degree in 2006 from Sana’a University, and my Master's degree in public administration from the Center of Public Administration Development at Sana'a University in 2017. As part of my master's degree, I study the relationship between the application of financial and administrative policies, and between the continuity of funding for NGOs organizations in Yemen, and determine the degree of impact of the implementation of financial policies, internal control systems, accounting systems, supervision tools, etc. on the financial position of the organizations. In addition to determining the degree of influence of the application of the administrative policies and the application of laws and legislation, and the existence of a clear vision and message, and accurate and realistic goals, written on the basis of scientific and modern technical and other on the performance and quality of work in organizations.
