35+ years of experience in the IT Industry specialising in Mainframe Systems with emphasis in Technical Support Products and Tools in the ACP/TPF/ALCS and VM operating systems. Started a software company (TPF Software Inc) in 1986 with Luiz Maia - the primary purpose is to sell TPF products/tools to the user community. Will celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2011. (Have seen more airlines and others come and go during that time). Worked with and still work with some very senior architects in designing the first system to provide each user with a private simulated TPF system (CMSTPF). Added the first source level trace for TPF application developers (Source View). Added the first Graphical User Interface for TPF/ALCS testing TPFGI and ALCS/GI. Currently implementing zTPFGI - a very advanced state of the art tool for zTPF applicaton development and testing. Installing our zTPFGI products at various zTPF customers (Hotels Airlines GDS and Financial Services companies). Brought Mohan Chandar on board to start and run TPF Software India the primary purpose is to be a one-stop shop for ALCS/TPF skills. This operation has been running for over 5+ years with over 25+ consultants serving a diversified group of ALCS/TPF customers. In previous roles worked on the SNAP project - first implementation of the Loosely Coupled Support. Worked with AT&T on their version of a VM based Loosely Coupled Systems of over 20+ processors serving thousands of VM/CMS users. Like so many other TPFers worked on the BofA implementation of the TPF switch. Enjoyed bringing new tools/products into the ACP/TPF/ALCS marketplace. Get great pleasure when somebody says they enjoy using our tools. Have a Masters Degree from Polytechnic University of New York migrated to the US in 1973 married and well settled in Raleigh North Carolina. TPF Software Inc (TSI) was sold to Constellation Software Inc. (CSI) in 2020. Karthikeyan Doraiswamy is now running TSI as its CEO we wish them all the best. Retired as of January 1st 2021.
