Flight Data Controller Airports Company South Africa June 2005 – Present (10 years 7 months)O.R Tambo International Airport FLIGHT TRACKING : Accurately capture movement data which include aircraft landing, take off and parking times: Monitor all radio frequencies and escalate non-compliance: Source estimated time of arrival/departure of various aircraft operators: Update flight information display system (FIDS) data to provide passengers and airport users with up to date flight information. INFORMATION : Reconciliation of Air Traffic and Navigation Services logs and Airport Management System movements. OPERATIONS : Capture all movements in the Airport Management System: Ensure alignment of airline schedule against seasonal slots: Generate and distribute a resource plan (parking bay list) for the purpose of all stakeholders: Notify Airport Operations for bay changes when required: Responsible for flight allocation schedules and non-schedule operations. Real-Time Resources : Ensure that all non-schedule flights are allocated to available resources: Liaise with Air Traffic And Navigation Services(ANS) to manage calculated take-off time(CTOT): Manage and coordinate airport resources: Notify marshalling department of inbound aircraft. Compliance/Risk : Adhere to statutory regulations, organisational standards policies and procedures. Stakeholder : Analyse Stakeholder needs and identity improvement initiatives.
