About Thom Overhof
With a broad interest in Automotive and Aerospace, I started specializing in Electric Drives that are widely used in the industry. The idea that you can design parts or systems that have highly practical function is something that I really value. There is nothing better then seeing the results of hard work and smart engineering. As full-time Electrical Engineering Student at Eindhoven University of Technology I did some very interesting projects in the fields of System & Control, Automotive and Electromechanics and Power Electronics, while learning the skills of presenting results, planning and communication with other students. Besides being a full-time Student, I like to develop web products and mobile applications for own usage and occasionally for small businesses and communities. The experiences from this range from keeping up to date with the latest developments and communicating and planning with customers. If I still got some time left after that I also do some experiments on my own to monitor and control home environments.
