While studying at Maastricht University, I gained valuable experience in business development and consultancy through the Premium excellence program. It was at this time that my interest in blockchain technology was sparked. I have looked into smart contracts' possibilities and have handled cases regarding Fintech transactions. Finding a way how to apply dated legal theory to these new developments is a challenge. That's what excites me. The ever-changing digital society that we live in has its advantages, but it also has its downsides. Regulators cannot keep up with the developments, even when they try.
