Following a highly successful executive career in media management, I’m ready to apply my expertise to new challenges in a management, sales, and/or marketing roll. While my background is in media (digital and print industries) I have a long history of client contact, contract negotiations, product roll outs and system implementation that would apply to various business models. With a background in sales, sales management, and marketing I started as an outside sales rep, quickly progressing to Classified Director where I oversaw operational profitability and market share growth - tracking sales performance, operations & budget preparation. As an Ad Dir. I became progressively responsible for increasing revenue and market share through the development and growth of new products. Including incorporating digital media into our sales culture - leading the cluster in total revenue. I relished the opportunity to introduce processes & technology throughout the organization leading cross functional communication and organization. In a publisher role my priority was to direct and streamline daily operations for both newspapers & digital products on a regional basis, based on revenues up to $15 million and oversight of 112 full-time employees. Along with typical initiatives, such as supervising operational profitability and establishing new products to increase market share, I was focused on improving performance and encouraging a culture of change among a unionized workforce. I enjoyed my role as an enthusiastic and innovative team leader, and savored consistently meeting my commitments with integrity. My peers describe me as a force for business change, a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and a respected leader. I've won awards for sales excellence, contributed to numerous committees and served on several boards. Now, I'm excited to enhance and strengthen a management team that recognizes the value of hiring broad and deep senior talent.
