About Thomas Andrikus

I was born in southeastern United States in late 1980s but was raised in Indonesia for most of my life. Until June 2020, I worked as a Client Technical Analyst for CDK Global, a US-based company that provides softwares for automobile dealerships in several countries. My job involved troubleshooting those softwares for clients consisting of both Francophone Canadians, Anglophone Canadians, and Americans. Currently I am employed at Amazon CVG2 Fulfillment Center in Hebron KY before I start my employment with Amazon Technical Academy in July 2023. I have graduated from Northern Kentucky University with dual degree of Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (with cum laude) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (with cum laude). In the past, I have lived in Jakarta, Bali, Singapore, and Virginia. I speak fluent Indonesian, proficient French & Malay, and a little Japanese. My aspiration is to become a man of letter which, as explained by the English intellectual John Gross in The Rise and Fall of the Man of Letters, is defined as "a writer of the second rank, a critic, someone who aimed higher than journalism but made no pretense of being a major artist".
