About Thomas Baulisch

I have worked in construction since 1983 and the Kiewit organization since 1988. I have been involved in water & wastewater projects all over Southern California; in Central California, Las Vegas and the Hawaiian Islands. My overseas experience includes geothermal power projects in Indonesia. In 2009 I relocated to the NY/NJ area to pursue the NYC water and wastewater markets. In 2013, after a handfull of successful projects for the NYC DEP, I transferred to Kiewit Power Constructors, headquartered in Lenexa, KS, continuing my role as a project sponsor. In July of 2015, I returned again the Southern California district of Kiewit Infrastructure West to pursue water, desalination and wastewater projects. Nearly all of my experience has been in the construction of process facilities, on projects ranging from to over $1 billion. Specialties: Project management, program management, operation cost analysis, productivity analysis, constructability reviews, operation planning, scheduling (P6, MS Project), owner relations, contract negotiations, sarcasm, union labor relations, concrete formwork planning & design, process testing & startup, training, recruiting, 3D modeling with SketchUp, estimating, people development and wine, bourbon, tequila - and automobile road racing.
