As a Program Project Manager at Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc, I provide strategic direction and project governance to plan and execute programs geared to raising awareness and advocating for solutions to prevent gun violence. I have a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Long Island University, and I have developed strong communication and team building skills throughout my career. In my current role, I lead a team of seven staff members to ensure the allocation of resources and deliverables for programs to run efficiently. I also manage and track the budget and allocation of funds to all program initiatives, and update our database daily with the staff performance and developmental feedback. I facilitate weekly development meetings with staff to discuss performance and program initiatives, and I manage our social media page and create content, job ads, and marketing materials to showcase the efforts made in our surrounding community. I am passionate about creating positive social change and empowering underserved youth, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
